Downtown Center is a multi-use venue located in the middle of historic downtown Bristol. The venue features on-site restroom facilities, complete concessions offering hot and cold foods, huge 12ft wide wrap-around porches with seating protected from the elements, a 30 x 20 foot stage with complete electrical needs for any concert or speaking type engagement. The stage features a roofing system with spot lights. Sound systems of different sizes are available upon request.
The center hosts two concert series each year beginning in May and going through the end of September. Concerts begin at 7:00 PM nightly.
Tuesday Bluegrass Nights (Featuring the best of Bluegrass in the region) on the 1st and 3rd
Country/ Nostalgia (Featuring older Country music and Old Rock & Roll Nostalgia) on the 2nd and 4th
Thursday Hot Southern Nights (Featuring the best cover bands in the area performing Southern Rock and
current Country)
Downtown Center is also home to stages during Bristol's Rhythm and Roots Festival and the August Family Race Night event.
Make plans to attend the 2010 Great on State music series bands and dates to be announced spring 2010.
Center is home to the State Street Farmers' Market during the months of May through October.
